I was talking to new co-op member, and Oregon Surfrider field coordinator Charlie Plybon, and he turned me on to the idea that ‘we’ could use Ning to develop a more socially interactive portal for co-op members. Now granted, www.oregonesurfrider.com is for a much LARGER organization (though I only see 19 members have joined the Ning network), and has paid staffers and volunteers keeping it up to date, but I thought I’d throw the idea out there as a possibility. I like the multiple blog feeds, event calendars, etc.   Go Amanda!  : )

PS: Thanks for the Eggport site compliments. I know barely enough to be dangerous when it comes to website design, Apple software and templates just make it look like I have some idea how to do it. I’ll only take credit for the time spent, the typing and maybe a bit of composition tweaking. iWeb is the real secret.

Just posting that I chiseled out a lil’ website for Eggport and thought I’d post a link: Eggport

I haven’t had the patience to play with the Wordpress tools and get anything up on the Lucky Cluck site, so you’ll have to take a look at the slow-to-load, semi-clunky site and tell me what you think.

/edit:  Wow…Khem, are you watching me? I could swear that link popped up on the Lucky Cluck Site almost instantly….you are fast.
